One-Third of People Text Naked Pictures of Themselves

Is your kid sexting? MTV would suggest that about a third of folks between the ages of 14-24 do! I wouldn't say that these kinds of results are anything but garbage in the first place, so don't overreact if you are a parent. It is an interesting thought though, as the idea of "sexting" seems to be catching on.

Some of the other results from the polls showed that roughly 50% didn't think it was that big of a deal, and the rest said it was a serious problem. That kind of confounds me as to why half of them actually went through with the act. It's also likely that 17% of the pictures received are forwarded onto other people. Trust me, if you've sent naked pics of yourself to a guy, I'm going to say that they've passed them around to friends 68% of the time--all the time.

I guess there's still time for me to become part of the statistic in this age group! On the other hand, I'm struggling to wonder what ever happened to the days of trolling dating websites and using good old e-mail to send penis pictures to everyone.
